As expected, T-Mobile has announced that starting tomorrow you’ll be able to finally get a 4G mobile hotspot on the network. The pocketable T-Mobile 4G Mobile Hotspot will be available in stores and online for $79.99.
As you’d expect from T-Mobile, that $79.99 is only after a $50 mail-in rebate. that price also comes with a two-year contract for the device. With the device you’ll be able to connect up to five devices with WiFi to T-Mobile’s network. Unfortunately the ZTE-made device will only work on T-Mobile’s 21 Mbps HSPA+ network and not the 42 Mbps network that’s being rolled out to select cities now. Hopefully we can have a mobile hotspot that takes advantage of those speeds sometime soon.
